How Other Nations Cope With a Winter Cold…

17 °C (63F)  Greeks consider sweaters (only if they could find it).

15 °C (59F)  Jamaicans include heating (of course, if they have it).

10 °C (50F)  Americans are beginning to feel cold.
The Russians visit their weekend houses to plant cucumbers.

5 °C (41F)     It is possible to see your breath. Italian cars refuse obedience.
Norwegians go swimming to the lake.

0 °C (32F)    In America freezes water.
In Russia water thickens.

-5 °C (23F)   French cars refuse obedience.
The Russians eat ice cream on the streets.

-15 °C (5F)   Cat insists that it will lie with you in bed.
Norwegians consider sweaters.

-17.9 °C (-0.22F) In Oslo homeowners include heating.
The Russians visit last time in the season their weekend houses.

-20 °C (-4F)    American cars do not ignite.

-25 °C (-13F)   German cars do not ignite.
Jamaicans perished.

-30 °C (-22F)   Authorities decided to consider matter of the homeless.
Cat sleeps in your pajama.
