Prologue…

It is being said that one’s development of character is much influenced by families, way of upbringing, environment and 
other circumstances. 
We cannot choose our destiny, just carry our fate and accept. 
However, stronger of us do not accept so easily what they might consider injustice and struggle through their lives trying to make change for the better against all odds. 
It is interesting to notice that lives of some could be just so straightforward, without any especially noticeable events, while lives of others could be difficult, filled with unexpected twists and turns, tremendous hardship, suffering, loses, sorrow, loneliness, you name it….and if we can imagine life as a piece of white fabric, this could manifest itself like a dark threads weaved through it. Often cruel life events can cripple its victim and then consequences are dreadful, especially for weaker person. But for stronger personality victory is possible, because all difficulties can then actually become a challenge….

And such was destiny of Maya…

I was born in Central Europe, country also called “Bohemia” on a cold and gloomy February day, which seems as a symbol to me because I never knew my mother’s love. My misfortune was… being born a “girl” not a boy she wanted…and sadly,  it never helped even after having two brothers …
No worry, I shall not continue here with my life story, although my life was so rich on events of peculiar, unusual and exceptional nature…well perhaps more on this some other time…

Conquering Bad…

Actually the reason why I am mentioning all this here is, that I am living proof of an individual where harsh life events could influenced formation of an individual’s character. 
I became a woman of iron will and discipline and what’s more, 
of independence. I managed to overcome losses caused by very unusual and unexpected circumstances, which were so generous visiting me 3 times in my life and forced me to start all over, again and again, plainly put, from scratch.  
I’ve lived in several countries and to have it more “colorful”… under communists, socialists and capitalists. I traveled extensively.  However, I am a political refugee …

Embracing Good…

I managed to stand back on my feet without any help whatsoever and in a foreign country to have it “easier” on myself :) 
I became strong leader; always being in position to train and help others and in a way also became bottomless well for my friend’s secrets confided in me. I attract that somehow, but I welcome it because in a way this always gives me a chance to grow more as a human being. Curiously, I’ve met in my life such an unusual opportunities as to be able help to ease tremendous suffering and even save life. I am very compassionate and whenever possible involved with organizations fighting for better environment, helping animals, fight against poverty and similar actions.

Who I am Today…

Regardless of being strong willed woman I am very sensitive as a human being, loving fellow humans, nature, animals, and beauty of creation. I have too many interests to name…reading, piano, yoga, meditation, cooking, ongoing studies of alternative medicine and healing, healthy lifestyle, homeopathy, psychology, philosophy and so much more that it would take rest of this page to go on :) I speak 6 languages and never stopped reading and learning.
I value honesty, loyalty and sincere friendship. I am absolutely optimistic, never admit defeat, just learn from mistakes and go on. I always approach any task in front of me with enthusiasm and dedication and believe that people if they want something strongly enough and believe in themselves, can always achieve their desired goals. Some need more help and encouragement, but this could be just an added ingredient available from those who love to help and share. 
For myself, I have yet to discover what word “boredom” means and I am sincerely sorry for those who have boredom as their life companion.

Professional Background…

It is somewhat sad for me that my talents…singing, ballet and piano didn’t become due to living in communist country my life’s fulfillment. I just had to accept what I had to. So I became economist (although I never favored math…)
So eventually I worked in this country as a financial adviser, last 12 years independently. 
 And I stayed always independent (somehow my strong personality doesn’t like bosses) and later I became entrepreneur, mentor and writer.  I’m also involved for some time with online marketing.  Like so many  others I did sieve through labyrinth of endless offers, some good, some bad, some outright worthless. However, with my background it was easier for me to spot real value,  see through dishonesty and blew away many ” bubbles without substance.”

I trust that my advice and help could be of value to those who still struggle, are ready to give up in marketing  business, or simply searching for something better and/or of more value to work with and wish to succeed in reaching financial freedom. Those might consider to give a time of the day to some of my recommendations and eventually discover that my suggestions and help could provide real depth and great value to them. Still, my very specialty is Personal Development and Growth.

Do you belong in this category?

In a desperate hunt after that so called “Real thing” people very often are misled by “BIG” promises of getting something for “nothing”, forgetting or not realizing there is no such a thing. So let’s be realistic.
“If we believe that we all would be rich doing nothing, we all would be rich.”
It never worked to “build castles in the air,” only to build on strong foundation. That strong foundation could be YOU when you discard what holds you back (it’s so easy to pin that down)  and start working on your personal growth.
Then your whole outlook changes, your life could become so much more meaningful and enjoyable that you will be able to inspire others, who will follow you curiously, simply amazed what a great personality you turned into. And then you can teach and lead and bring more value to others and to this world.

My vision as a blogger…

What do I plan to do on this blog?
I shall write about “LIFE” itself, about living it better and smarter, value it more, handle it more skillfully, solve problems more easily, appreciate it more, become stronger individuals, personalities and so on. I intend to express some of my views on many subjects, post some of my life events, real as they were and are, no embellishments, no fictions. All shall be mine own, original, and honest.
So… let’s start by accepting my invitation…
